There are many fabulous restaurants and bars in Cavtat, below are just a few of our family's recommendations!
Good place for a lunch, coffee or a beer. Facing north, looking out to Dubrovnik with a great view of the bay, a nice place in the shade for a beer or a spot of lunch.
Reasonably priced too and just away from the crowds in the village centre.
The ćevapi and fresh anchovy salad we had were superb and the service is friendly though can sometimes be a little slow. But then you are on holiday!

With a prime view of the marina/harbour and any water polo matches, this is a lovely little find with friendly staff.
We had the best ever garlic loaf for starters-delicious! Pizzas are amazing and the wine nicely chilled. It’s not a huge menu but what they do, they do well! We never feel rushed and always end up coming back.

If you ask for our choice of restaurants in Cavtat Restaurant Damatino is definitely one of our favourites. We love spending time here and then strolling round Cavtat to walk our dinner off.
The restaurant is not on the main promenade and so is just a little more authentic and not as pricey, but still with a view.
They serve the usual food found in the local restaurants in the area but it’s good and they have added sauces and herbs so some of the dishes are a little different. Our recommendation here is the fresh tuna steak served with grilled seasonal vegetables. The service is good and courteous.
In July and August it is recommended that you phone and reserve a table if you would like to dine on the waters edge. Or even better go to Cavtat early, reserve your table at the restaurant and then walk round the headland to watch the most spectacular sunset you will ever see with a pre-dinner cocktail!
It is easy to park in the main car park as you enter Cavtat, follow the road as far as you can go and you will find it. The restaurant is the first on the right as you enter the car park.

Restaurant Ivan is located in the small town of Cavtat, on the fisherman’s side of the peninsular.
It is a nice family restaurant serving a lot of the local foods with good service, just an enjoyable place to eat with great views.
They serve similar dishes to most other restaurants in the area but presented in a modern style.
Follow directions to Cavtat and parking. Restaurant Ivan is on your right as you approach the car park.
