It is not a guarantee!
(If you require pool heating in July or August it is provided at £15 per day, please note it takes 48 hours to make a difference to the water temperature)

Sara and Lily were great, communication from the minute of booking was amazing. We wanted the pool slightly warmer and within a couple of hours this was actioned – thank you so much!

A well maintained ground floor property, situated just behind the border crossing. A fabulous infinity pool with amazing views out to Cavtat across the bay. We would highly recommend the airport pick up, and hiring one their cars to explore the surrounding countryside and sample the great local restaurants. The informative brochure supplied us with plenty of ideas of places to visit or eat at, with accurate directions and journey times. Angela our on site host was also always there at the end of the phone to help and advise us. Once again many thanks. We shall return!

We’ve returned 5 times since first booking. We love the combination of a very smart apartment, a large enough pool to swim in, very convenient hotel/airport transfers, a large variety of places to visit nearby. You have options to go deeper into Bosnia or drive back into Croatia to Dubrovnik, Cavtat or visit islands, do boat trips and water sports. So we’ve that combination works with teenage children. The venue itself is great to spend time initially relaxing in. Service and help have been consistently excellent. This year, the movement through the border back in to Croatia was much quicker. In part years that has been an issue – but seems to be resolved by new larger border control on both sides. Would highly recommend.

Villa Goja is a majestic property that lords itself over everything beneath it – which is actually quite a lot as it turns out. The property is perched high above the Dubrovnik Riviera and the glistening Adriatic. To say this property provides its guests with a view to die for is up there with understatement of the century and I think I could sit on the terrace for the next 10 years without becoming bored with the vista. There is, of course, much more to this property than the panorama and the infinity pool ranks highly among its list of attributes. This young family spent hour upon hour entertaining ourselves in this pool and it was a huge wrench for our children to finally say goodbye to it after a week of near unlimited fun. Inside is a beautifully kept property with a comfortably sized living area, adjacent to a kitchen which is stocked with pretty much every utensil that an enthusiastic hobby chef requires. The bedrooms, both with high end en suite bathrooms, are a great size and, once the shutters are opened, give you yet another opportunity to admire that view. If you chose to, you could comfortably spend a week exclusively at the villa but you would be mad to as there is so much to keep you occupied beyond its doors. If you time it right, crossing the international border does not have to be too painful and once you have dispensed with the formalities, you can be in Dubrovnik within 15 minutes. We also spent several days on the beach at Srebreno, which is even closer to the villa. However, Goja’s very special location meant that we were able to get to discover a corner of Bosnia, a country we had not ever previously considered visiting. Its dramatic green mountains and rustic villages were in stark contrast to the well polished resorts and tourist destinations down in Croatia but equally as appealing. The lovely city of Trebinje is some 25 minutes away while mighty Mostar is a good five hour round trip but what you find when you arrive is worth every moment of an energy sapping journey. Another bonus of spending time in Bosnia is that most things seem to be at least half the price than in its better known neighbour. We were able to discover all of these new places thanks to information curated by the villa’s owners and invaluable advice from the brilliant staff. The bespoke travel brochure that they provide to guests is more like a love letter to two countries which are clearly very dear to their heart. It is this loving attention to detail that makes Villa Goja a property that we couldn’t recommended highly enough.

We were really happy with the villa.

Fantastic location with magnificent view of the coast and sea near Dubrovnik. Huge infinity pool. Beautiful villa with en suite for each bedroom with everything we needed for a perfect stay. Such helpful staff from Marija and the pool guys and especially Sara who we booked with. Go check it out yourself. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a wonderful week in Villa Goja! The villa is immaculate, well equipped and the pool a great size. The staff were friendly and helpful and gave advice/suggestions when we asked. We appreciated being collected from the airport and as we arrived in the evening it was a a bonus being taken en route to purchase some groceries. The view from the villa is amazing – you just never tire of looking out to the coast and mountains! We enjoyed exploring nearby places in Croatia (Dubrovnik, Cavtat, Mlini, Srebreno etc.) but also enjoyed exploring Bosnia & Herzegovina. We drove to Kotor, Montenegro through the mountains and fjords – a stunning journey. The Villa had a Welcome Book which gave lots of ideas for trips, places to eat etc. which was a great help. Prior to arriving at the villa and during the booking process Sara couldn’t have been more helpful in answering our questions. Hiring a car is a must (which is made clear when you book) and the car we received from Bozholidays was perfect for what we needed. There are a couple of small local shops in the village which sell basic provisions and lovely fresh bread each morning. Thanks for a great holiday!

We just wanted to write a note to say we had a great time at Villa Goja. It’s a beautiful place and we loved the pool and the view. All the members of the team we met were helpful when we needed something and friendly. The welcome book and all it’s ideas was well used! We enjoyed looking around Dubrovnik, Srebreno, Mlini and Cavtat. We also drove to Kotor which was stunning. When we left the Villa we enjoyed a swim at Kravice and then went on to Mostar and Sarajevo.
So thanks for all your help in providing us with a great holiday.

We had a wonderful time. Having the heated pool was a massive advantage for the two girls as they could play any time of the day or night. The pool water quality was outstanding. Thank you to your team for that. The extra food and drinks were helpful for us and just gave us a little more time to relax before having to go to the shops (thank you). The place was very clean and again we found it suited us well. Staff were very helpful for booking and getting washing done. Alex has really grown well into his role as host. Communications were very good too.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Goja with our 4 year old son. It was wonderful waking up to the beautiful view and having time in the pool to cool off. The villa is perfect.
We enjoyed visiting Mostar, Ston and Trebinje. Mlini beach was nice. For the younger generation Banje Beach Club was a good day. Walking the walls of Dubrovnik and the cable car was fab. Food in restaurant ’Drijen’ is lovely and cheap! The drive to Montenegro is a must through the fjords.
Mili was wonderful and always happy to help.
Pool boy Stephan was friendly and provided us with a safe taxi trip to Dubrovnik.

Very enjoyable stay in the lovely Villa Goja with amazing views. We enjoyed visiting the local areas, including Dubrovnik via cable car – though the drive was a little scary…
June 2016, United Kingdom
This villa was amazing for 4 very good reasons – the pool… infinity design, heated perched on an hillside; the view – high above the villages and sea below; the location – it’s in Bosnia; the staff – we encountered some minor difficulties during our stay (nothing serious but required assistance). If like us you agree that inevitably things happen but as long as they are dealt with in a timely fashion then these guys won’t let you down. Advantages – Dubrovnik within easy reach as is Montenegro, Bosnia, and local beaches. Bosnia has the added advantage that food and drink are cheaper, so try the restaurants locally, there in the visitor book. Disadvantages – a car is a must, but car hire is cheap. Oh! Watch out for Sixt car hire at the airport. They where so popular that a large Q made it a 1 hour wait to pick up our car. All the others where empty! So maybe a point to pay a little more but get a quick service. Villa was spotless and well equipped. There are some villas under development as is the gravel road up this villa but nothing that put us off. So like all the previous residence, it’s a gem at a very reasonable cost. You won’t be disappointed! I’m sure.

I won’t bore anyone with compliments to Mili & Zdravko, it’s all been said before and we fully agree. The place is wonderful as you can see: so what we do…
Go to Dubrovnik via cable car, go down to the roundabout, 2nd exit & follow to cable ride car park. Leave the car and spend the day. Return at your leisure, go to Trebinje & visit wine yard. The wines there are exeptional!
Don’t miss Kotor & climb up to fortress.
The restaurant “Drijen” is a must!
All in all fantastic!
Oh! Didn’t I forget to mention views & pool?
June 2016, United Kingdom
Wow. How can I put our honey moon into words. From start to finish we have been spoilt by kind Mily, Zdravko. We spent a lot of time here in the villa loving the view and soaking up the sun. It’s priceless! A trip to Cavtat is awesome! Loud day in Dubrovnik Old Town. Take a drive into Bosnia + Trebinje, carry on. Go it’s just beautiful and mountains, Old Dubrovnik. Picturesque!
Restaurants – Drijen – just past Bosnian border. Beautiful setting and food FANTASTIC! Plus home made wine is gorgeous (red).
Thank you so much!!!

This property exceeded my expectations and more than lived up to how it looked in the marketing photos – I LOVED the time I spent there. We were met and welcomed by the ever friendly and helpful Property Manager who was always on hand to answer our questions and tend to any needs. I found the property to be spotlessly clean and well equipped. The highlight for me was the view – AMAZING. The last 500 meters of road to the property are unpaved but this did not bother us in the slightest. There are also approximately 10 steps to the entrance but unless you are not so mobile I don’t see this as a problem. The distance to the nearest shops, restaurants and beaches is several km so we hired a car from the property manager – this went without any problems. The property is far away enough from Dubrovnik to feel peaceful but not feel isolated. If you are looking for relaxation and privacy in a luxury villa, this is the place to book. All in all it was perfect for us – a family with two children of 9 and 11.
May 2016, Netherlands
We have enjoyed a wonderful holiday at Villa Goja. The villa was spotless – I have rarely stayed in such a beautiful, well equipped holiday accommodation and we spent hours just sitting on the terrace enjoying the spectacular view.
Our day trip included Dubrovnik Old City where we walked the city walls (it’s worth the small fee) and took the cable car to the fort. We would recommend dinner at Arsenal restaurant which overlooks the harbour and has a lovely atmosphere especially in the evening.
The local beaches that we enjoyed were at Cavtat (more lively and with a few restaurants) and Srebreno which is small quiet and has a few coffee shops only but had enough stores and send to keep the kids happy. It also has a walkway leading to the next two beaches along the coast which makes a nice walk.
We also enjoyed several trips to Trebinje shopping and a nice riverside walk out to the old bridge. The absolute highlight for us was a trip Kotor in Montenegro – the city walls are spectacular and the view from the top equals nothing I have seen. A word of warning – wear good shoes and take a drink – it’s a long hard climb and its thirsty work.
Restaurant tip: we BBQ’d at the villa but also ate regularly at “Drijen” (turn left the Bosnian border crossing and go about 2-3 km towards Trebinje – huge portions and very good value!
Finally – many, many, many thanks to Milica for everything, from a warm, welcome, helpful tips and great advice about Bosnia/Croatia.
We will be back and we will recommend Villa Goja + Bosnia tp our friends!
24 January 2016, United Kingdom
What a fantastic holiday! Everything from the short flight from the UK then arriving in Croatia. We landed and was met by the ever helpful Milli who gave us a little tour of the neighbouring towns before arriving at the villa. We were in awe of the villa and what a unbelievable view absolutely incredible the villa had everything you need with fantastic en suite bathrooms. The infinity pool was just as we imagined in the pictures. The local restaurants we went in and around the villa were all superb and very helpful. Day out in Dubrovnik a must and also must recommend that you do the wine tasting all booked thru Milli. We would say that you need to hire a car to see all the scenery well worth it. All in all what a great time we had and will be definitely coming back and can only thank Sara and Co for all their help.
November 2015, United Kingdom
We absolutely loved this propery, the accommodation was modern, well equipped and spotlessly clean. High on the mountainside, with breathtaking views over the mountains and beyon to the sea the location is stunning. Sitting on the specious terrace in the sun, overlooking the infinity pool as the water spills over the views beyond is one of those moments you never forget! The kids loved the pool, as it was large enough to enjoy swimming and playing games together (although balls do get lost over the edge of the mountainside from time to time). The terrace area was beautiful with large comfortable loungers, a lovely seating area, and a shaded dining area outside the kitchen where breakfast and lunch could be enjoyed overlooking the mountains. Both bedrooms open out onto the terrace so you can wake up to the view. The surrounding area has plenty to explore, and the suggestions and directions provide by the owners around Bosnia and Croatia provide us with exellent local knowledge. Our kids are 9 and 15 and loved it as well, but it is quiet, Wi-fi kept our teenagers happy and in contact with friends. The property also has staff around the site on a daily basis, to book exursions, provide a taxi service and any other help or advise, which was brilliant. The only thing to consider is the Croatian Border which has to be crossed to enter or exit the property. We felt the property and view were worth the sometimes inconvenience of the Border, we visited at the end of August – some days we just cruised through the Border, but at busier times there were some very long waits and your car need to be air conditioned! All in all we were prepared for that and factored it into our holiday, and on a couple of very busy days crossed into Bosnia to explore and eat instead. We are returning this summer as the pros far outweighed this.
