Exclusive villa on Zizanj Island

Villa Zizanj, designed around expansive olive groves, is a world into itself and a private retreat that inhabits the entire southern tip of Croatian island Zizanj. Set in the archipelago along the Dalmation coast, the arid Mediterranean landscape and traditional stone construction complement each other perfectly.

The nearest international airport is just a 30 min coastal drive away in the of City of Zadar or 1hr 15 minutes from Split international airport and with private secure parking in the harbor of city Biograd na Moru, it is an easy journey before boarding your complimentary boat transfer to Zizanj island.

This modern and spacious home can accommodate up to 14 guests and can be rented in its entirety or partially during pruning and picking season. With 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms it is ideal for groups or a family getaways. The accommodations layout allows for partial rental of the property for up to 8 guests. While secluded and rural, it is fully equipped with modern comfortable luxuries, Wi-Fi, satellite TV and audio system, two open plan lounges and dining areas. Its expansive floor plan has its own underfloor cooling/heating system and is bright and airy with stunning unobstructed views out to sea. With 2 fully equipped kitchens and outdoor BBQ you can entertain large groups alfresco or indoors with seating for 14. However, should you not wish to cook each evening, there is a restaurant on your island or a chef preparing local dishes can be arranged.

The outdoor living spaces are just as spacious with broad terraces and expansive grounds surrounding the infinity pool, olive groves and all with breathtaking panoramic views.

Linens, laundry facilities and extra daily housekeeping are offered.

Obviously the best way to to make the most out of your stay would be to hire a small boat. The Island Zizanj makes up one of the 718 Croatian Archipelago Islands plus there are over 1200 uninhabited islands with coves, beaches and inlets which await being explored. Many of them with restaurants and bars for you to try fresh seafood and local dishes and wines. The larger neighbouring island of Pasman with its bars, coves and shopping is just a short sail away, how to explain to friends where you went to buy a pint of milk!

Places to visit.

Kornati National Park is a breathtaking chain of 89 islands of protected habitat and again just a short boat ride away. Speckling the coast between Zadar and Šibenik, this trail of islands, islets, and reefs is split into two distinct halves: the Upper or Gornji Kornati and the Lower or Dornji Kornati, including the largest island of Kornat, from which the archipelago takes its name, the administrative island of Murter, connected to the mainland by bridge. Some of them are reaily beautiful, desolate places, with a karst terrain full of caves, grottos, and cracks to explore, while others are home to vineyards, olive groves, and orchards that bring in a seasonal population of farmers to tend to them. What’s more, the long coastline of the island of Kornat creates a protected body of water for boats to sail in, allowing them to slalom through narrow channels between islands without heavy sea waves. The tranquil island waters have also created their own micro-climate underwater, as Adriatic marine life yields to rare species of algae, coral, and mollusks that makes for a unique swimming or snorkeling adventure.

Onshore why not visit the small town of Biograd na Moru and it’s stunning coastline and beaches or the beautiful historic city of Split. Split, the 2nd largest city in Croatia, is a mix of modern life and ancient history with ruins dating back to the Roman Empire. The bustling waterfront is full of cafes and restaurants serving seafood fresh from the Adraitic- a great day out for all.

The swimming pool (5 x 10m) is for the sole use of our guests. Pool is not heated (in period May-October temperature of the water is between 24°C and 29°C).

Sun loungers & umbrella are provided for your relaxation.

2 outdoor dining tables & chairs provided along with summer kitchen & BBQ to dine alfresco with pool, olive groves and sea views.

Until 11 a.m.

30% of total amount is required as a deposit when booking, which is nonrefundable. Full payment is then due 4 weeks prior to arrival.

A returnable breakage and key security deposit is due on arrival.

€1000 for the main villa part (6+2) or €1500 for the entire villa rental (10+4).

This will be refunded on day of departure, once the key is returned and property inspected.

Cleaning once a week including the replacement of towels and sheets. If you want to change sheets in the meantime, no problem, because there are spare sheets, as well as towels for the bathrooms and pool in all rooms. All included in the price.

Should you wish an extended cleaning, extra payment is €100 per day.

Transport to and from the island when staying 1 week or more is included in the price. For stays shorter than 1 week boat transport costs additional €400.

Extra transport from and to island is €400.

Boat + captain for day trips is not included in the price.
